Aga and Filip's wedding

When I recall Aga and Filip's day, I come to the conclusion that nothing happens by accident in our lives. I remember how a few years ago, I dreamed of a stylized wedding photoshoot. I didn't have such a project in my portfolio and I didn't really know how to go about it. I wrote emails to strangers to present my vision for the session in the hope that someone would be interested in collaborating with me. That's how I met Patrycja - a florist who enchanted me with her work and created a stylized lavender wedding session with us, which later appeared in the Bride magazine, as well as on several wedding blogs.

A few years have passed since then, and we still keep in touch. In the meantime, Patrycja moved to the UK and it was thanks to her that Agnieszka and Filip, who flew straight from London to their wedding, contacted me. Their wedding took place in Warsaw (Agnieszka's hometown), and the reception took place in an absolutely magical place, the Palace in Jabłonna. I have photographed there many times during wedding sessions, and once I also did a fashion session there in the beautiful, palace interiors. However, I have never photographed a real wedding there. This dream came true thanks to these lovely twosome.

From our first online conversation I knew that Aga and Filip were totally my people. We even sent each other photos of our cats in emails (greetings to Kociuś!), from the very beginning we clicked completely and that didn't change throughout our cooperation. Their day was full of joy, energy, sun, a perfect mish-mash of classic and modern. Agnieszka and Filip's preparations took place in the beautiful interior of the Hotel Indigo overlooking Warsaw. I admit that it was one of the most spectacular places for preparations that I had the opportunity to photograph.

Later we moved to the beautiful Church of the Visitationists on Krakowskie Przedmieście, right next to my university, and finally we found ourselves in the Palace in Jabłonna. That day was full of emotions, great fun, beautiful decorations and love that could be felt at every step. The evening was topped off with a fireworks display, sparklers and the best group photos of men with cigars. Totally in the style of Peaky Blinders!

To sum up - during that day I created many photos that occupy a large place in the category of "photos of life". Travel with me to their beautiful day and let yourself be carried away by all the emotions <3

Agnieszka, Filip - thank you for everything!

Ola and Michał's wedding session at the Palace

When you wonder where you can have an outdoor wedding, a few, if not a dozen, cool places come to mind. Some of them are more common, and others are absolutely unique and still shrouded in some mystery. They are not as well-known and popular, which makes them even more attractive.

The romantic neo-Gothic estate you will see today is the Patrykozy Palace. You praise other people's, you don't know your own - that's exactly what you can say about this place. When I first saw it on Instagram, I didn't think I would find so much wealth, amazing objects, rooms with fancy decorations like from a fairy tale and lots of magical nooks there.

The Patrykozy Palace is a piece of history, but also a huge force of human determination. The owner of the property put his whole heart into restoring this place and saving it from oblivion. His hard work has been appreciated. In 2017, the palace was awarded the Minister of Culture and National Heritage prize in the "Well-kept Monument" competition.

You will find there beautiful rooms with rich stucco, huge fireplaces, stylish furniture from the Biedermeier era and beautiful, winding staircases. In addition to the property itself, which takes your breath away at every step, you can also use the equally beautiful English-style park with an atmospheric gazebo. There is seriously a place to go wild with photography.

I went there for the first time for a session with Ola and Michał. My laughing, lovely buddies, whom I met while searching for models for a session with alpacas. I was glad that I finally had the opportunity to see this beautiful palace, but what we saw there exceeded our wildest expectations.

The autumn aura added an incredible atmosphere to everything. I will never forget the feeling when after the session we were walking through these interiors bathed in darkness. I felt like I was in a fairy tale from which I did not want to return to the normal world.

And take a look for yourself!

An Autumn Wedding Full of Red at Szklarnia Grodzisk

Autumn is definitely one of the most magical seasons. I love it for its explosion of colors, the leaves falling from the trees, and the rain—best enjoyed from the couch with a cup of our favorite tea. As it happens, for the past few years, my wedding season has always come to a close in the fall. The last weddings of the season are always unforgettable and special. Last year was no different. I wrapped up my photography marathon with a beautiful wedding story for Paulina and Marcin. They chose the stunning Szklarnia Grodzisk as their wedding venue. Until then, I had only seen it on Instagram, and to be honest, the chance to photograph there had me beyond excited. I counted down the days to this wedding for many reasons.

I met Paulina during my photography studies. Although we didn’t study together, she was my guiding light, always offering invaluable advice. I’m convinced that without her, my journey at UW would have been much more challenging, and for that, I will always be grateful. So when she asked us about our availability for her wedding, I felt it was my duty to return the favor for everything she had done for me. And when I finally met her fiancé, I knew right away—they were meant for each other.

On their wedding day, everything just fell into place—the vibrant red of Paulina’s hair, the room with the most epic chandelier ever, where Marcin was getting ready. His deep burgundy suit made him look absolutely regal. The bookshelf in the living room, filled with fantasy novels, a Deadpool figurine, and a Witcher School medallion 😃—it all made me feel right at home from the very start.

But beyond the material things, there was something even more important—something that can sometimes be hard to notice, yet in their case, it was crystal clear. The way Marcin looked at Paulina. Their beloved dog, calmly watching the preparations unfold. The tender embraces and teary eyes of their loved ones during the blessing. The crisp autumn air, their pure joy when they saw each other in the garden for the first time. Their unfiltered happiness, surrounding us at every moment that day.

It’s truly beautiful when two people love each other so deeply that their love becomes almost tangible. Suddenly, everything feels simpler. They are just there for each other—no pretense, no worrying about what’s appropriate, whether there’s time, space, or the right moment. They embrace life fully, in every second. And that’s the most beautiful thing a person can witness and capture in photographs—preserving it forever.

WHAT I’LL REMEMBER FOREVER:

  • Smiles, smiles, and more smiles—throughout the entire day, every single moment.

  • That I got to decorate the ring box myself, and everyone was happy with the result—even though I’m no florist or decorator 😆

  • Their total chill vibe.

  • The mini-session during the reception, which, thanks to their natural ease, turned out to be some of the best shots we’ve ever taken in such a short time.

  • The badass squad-style photos of the girls with cigarettes.

  • The Bin Laden dance organized by Kacper from Dobry Klimat Music Band.

  • I might sound like a foodie, but I have to mention it—THE BEST FOOD EVER.

  • That they wanted to take a few final shots by the lights of my car, with everything glistening from the rain.

  • The bold red color that appeared throughout the day, sparking my imagination at every turn.

That’s just a little intro about this incredible couple—now, I invite you to dive into their story. Put on some music, soak in the vibe, and enjoy their absolutely unforgettable day!

Greenery style wedding in the magical Oczyszczalnia

I met Paulina and Paweł for the first time in a restaurant to discuss all the details of their wedding and reception. It turned out that we have more in common than we expected, especially our love of board games :)

When Paweł wrote me the first email and I read that their wedding would take place in one of the most magical places on the map of Poland, I couldn't wait to meet them! Not only did I dream of photographing a ceremony in this place, but Paulina and Paweł's wedding was also supposed to feature a lot of greenery-style motifs, which I love.

I did stylized wedding session "Silver Dust", which was published in the polish wedding magazine. Paulina and Paweł looked through my portfolio and this session also did not escape their attention, maybe it even inspired them a little.

Such situations make me extremely happy, because I know that my hard work and long weeks of preparation for the session are not wasted. It's a great feeling when your own projects are remembered by others. I won't deny that it was an incredibly pleasant surprise for me.

The day started slowly, I could take pictures of Paulina and Paweł's preparations, their family and loved ones without stress. I really appreciate the atmosphere of peace, in which I can act without feeling pressured, rushed and have more time for some thoughts in terms of the frame or composition. There was also a moment for a few photos with my beloved dog.

The garden behind the house turned out to be the perfect scenery for their first look (I love this moment!). The wedding ceremony took place in a very bright chapel. I was deeply moved by the fact that their loved ones took such an active part in the Holy Mass. The whole ceremony took place in a very family, friendly atmosphere. At the end I managed to take a souvenir family photo, although it was not easy with so many people :)

The wedding is prevented in the Oczyszczalnia in Teresin. A place that is essential magic, which was previously noticed in photos on the Internet by other photographers. I secretly dreamed that maybe one day I would be able to photograph there originally. Since I appeared on the spot, my delight was endless.

The kitchen arrangement, the tableware, the omnipresent greenery, wonderful decorations, outside fresh, blue photobus, which were created by the amazing Kasia and Grześ. Everything that is unusual, like on the photos which I admired on Pinterest! There were switches, fantastic, blue cakes, cut in the use of a kitten walking next to it, wonderful garlands with lights, delicious food and the best music in the world.

It was a wedding in the true spirit of SLOW. There was no tight schedule of events, no specific time frame for ticking off items from the list. The atmosphere of total ease, happiness and love. To be honest – these are the weddings I love the most. And… I dream of one myself! :)

Without further ado – I invite you to watch the reportage and comment <3

What Can You Do to Get Even Better Wedding Photos? Part I

A professional photographer knows exactly what to do on your wedding day. However, great photos depend on many factors, including some that are within your control.

What can you do to ensure you have even better wedding photos? Keep reading for some tips! :)

What Can You Do to Get Better Photos During Your Wedding Preparations?

The main issue on this day is poor time management. Couples often don’t plan their day step by step and have no idea how much time to allocate for each task.

Another mistake is assuming that once the plan is made, everything will go according to the minute. Nothing could be further from the truth!

So, my first and most important piece of advice for you is to plan everything with a time buffer. That way, you won’t add extra stress if something doesn’t go as expected.

Plan everything so that you don’t feel like you're racing against time but can let the events unfold naturally at their own pace.

For the best photos, we need a positive atmosphere, free from arguments or rushing. Working under pressure is extremely difficult. I’m not saying it’s impossible—I've had plenty of opportunities to work under time constraints (not just at weddings).

However, when I’m not feeling rushed, there are more creative shots, and I’m more inspired because I’m not constantly thinking, “In 10 minutes, I have to head to the ceremony.”

Plan everything to avoid unexpected situations and delays. Minimize logistical problems as much as possible.

Preparations – Choosing the Location

Przygotowania_do_ślubu

The most convenient solution for the couple is to get ready at the same location. This could be your family home, apartment, or hotel. If you prefer not to see each other during this stage, you can prepare in separate rooms.

Arranging makeup and hairstyling at the preparation location is a huge convenience. This way, you have more peace and freedom. You’ll feel more relaxed because you won’t have to move from one place to another. If you don’t have this option, photographing these moments often becomes pointless. Why?

In many salons, the lighting isn’t ideal—it may have a strange color dominance and is often highly contrasting, making your faces not look their best. Also, keep in mind that, during the service, you’re likely not the only ones in the salon.

Often, other clients don’t want to be in the frame, so right from the start, I have limited opportunities for photographing, and I can’t work in 100% accordance with my preferences.

There’s a common belief that photos of the whole process—while having your hair or makeup done—are an absolute must-have. I think that’s nonsense. Ask yourselves—do you really need 20 photos of your hairstyle or makeup being done? So many amazing moments happen throughout the day that are worth showing! After all, we’re not making a tutorial for the makeup artist or hairstylist, right?

These moments can be limited to a few shots at the end, when you’re already looking stunning and showing off the results! I also always take portraits of you that highlight the artistry of the makeup artists and hairstylists, and these photos don’t need to be taken while they’re working.

If you’re getting ready at home, you’ll feel much more at ease because you're in your own space, and that shows in the photos. Often, your loved ones are with you, which allows me to capture interesting moments and interactions between you. If you also have pets, they should definitely be part of your wedding story. You can trust me, these shots will likely become some of your favorite wedding photos!

space for photos

reportaż_ślubny

If you’ve decided to hire both videographers and photographers, and there will be more than two people involved, try to organize your preparations in a spacious area. There's nothing worse than being cramped in a small room with no room to move around.

This also applies to the blessing. If you choose to have it on your wedding day, try to arrange it in the largest possible room. Invite only those closest to you—ideally just those from whom you want to receive a blessing. Too many people can negatively impact the shots that will be taken during this emotional moment.

Often, parents have the idea of bringing towels, cushions, or small rugs for you to kneel on during the blessing. Don’t do this! I know it’s out of concern for your comfort, but trust me, it never looks good. The exception is if there’s a rug already in the room as part of the décor.

ORDERLINESS – THE RECIPE FOR BETTER WEDDING PHOTOS

Sometimes, during preparations, your space can be a bit messy. Make sure there are no unnecessary items in the room. Often, in the background of photos, you’ll find a plastic water bottle or shoe boxes. If you’re thirsty, prepare something to drink in a cup or glass and leave the bottles in the kitchen. This advice applies to any room where photos will be taken.

Clean up any bags, clothes, boxes, or other items that could distract from the photos. Try to choose rooms that have at least one window.

Rooms that are bright, have many windows, and feature neutral-colored walls work best. If you have a choice between a room with a patterned wallpaper in bright colors and one with simple, light-colored walls, always go for the second option.

Think about what you’ll wear during the preparation photos. For brides, robes work wonderfully. It doesn’t have to be a "Bride" robe—solid-colored or floral print robes also look beautiful. You could also wear a tunic or dress, which will look much better than a tracksuit and a stretched-out T-shirt.

For grooms, it’s much easier—pretty much anything works, except for a tracksuit! ;) It may seem like these details are insignificant, but trust me—these small elements will really make your wedding photos even better!

If you choose to get ready at home, you can highlight items that hold sentimental value. Think about whether there are objects in your home that bring up warm memories, interesting stories, or are simply beautiful. If so, prepare them in advance for photos.

TAKE CARE OF THE ATMOSPHERE

dzień_ślubu

I can imagine the immense stress that comes with your wedding day. So many preparations, huge expenses, and a million questions – will everything go as planned? I suggest that, in the final stretch, about a week before the wedding, you try to unwind even a little and take a brief break from wedding planning.

Spend this time doing something that brings you joy. Relax, and allow yourself some rest. Though it may seem hard, try to get a good night’s sleep before the big day. All the stress and exhaustion will be visible in your photos. Don’t allow any negative emotions or dark thoughts to take over. Keep your mindset positive and focus on the excitement of the day ahead.

BEAUTIFUL DETAILS

detale_ślub

During your preparations, play your favorite music, try to relax, and create an atmosphere that feels as calming as possible. Enjoy your favorite coffee or tea in peace in the morning. These small elements will significantly impact how you feel.

For us, as well as many couples who choose our services, details play a crucial role in the wedding reportage. I absolutely love photographing all the accessories you've carefully chosen for your big day. Your clothes, shoes, jewelry, invitations, cufflinks, bouquet, and boutonniere – all of this is important to me.

Try to gather these items in one place in advance. When possible, I enjoy taking your items into nature, searching for interesting backgrounds, textures, and stunning light.

Sometimes, I hang your clothes on branches or place them in seemingly unusual spots. It's all part of the fun and an attempt to find the most interesting space to showcase the details. All this is done to make your photos as beautiful and unique as possible.

I love it when you prepare additional items for photographing – old books, fancy mirrors, or beautiful ring boxes. These things add an incredible atmosphere to the photos and make them even more personalized.

The "First Look" – the magic of the first meeting

First_look

If possible, I always encourage organizing the first look outdoors, whether in your garden or somewhere nearby. There’s always a way to find a bit of greenery – even during your preparations in an apartment building.

I arrange it so that the groom arrives at the agreed spot first, and the bride walks towards him slowly, while I capture your reactions. These are incredibly intimate and emotional moments, so try to make sure you’re alone during this time, without extra eyes on you. If it’s not possible to have the first look outside, there’s no problem in having it inside your apartment. There are no restrictions on this, and the results are just as beautiful – see for yourself!

photos with loved ones

fotografie_pozowane_ślub

Once your preparations, blessing, and possibly the first look are done, I recommend setting aside about 10-15 minutes for photos with your loved ones. While posed photos can certainly be taken during the wedding, I believe this specific moment is a perfect opportunity for better photos.

Your loved ones are incredibly excited, and their emotions are written all over their faces. They’re dressed beautifully and haven’t yet worn themselves out from dancing the night away. During your blessing or preparations, you’re likely surrounded by the people closest to you, so it’s a great time to capture some group photos.

The preparation time at home offers a fantastic opportunity for emotional, intimate portraits, especially with parents, grandparents, and siblings. I encourage your loved ones to get involved in the preparations, whether they’re helping with the dress or jacket. Don’t let them hide away in the kitchen – let them be a part of your story!

Family, Friends – Helpers During Preparations

It’s very common that when I arrive at the preparation location, your loved ones are not yet ready to leave. They tend to hide away and don’t want to be photographed. This situation especially applies to brides – your mothers, grandmothers, sisters, or bridesmaids may not want to be photographed without their flawless makeup and stylish outfits they chose for this special occasion.

To avoid these situations, I advise that your loved ones get ready much earlier. Additionally, if you’ve chosen bridesmaids and groomsmen, the preparation time is the perfect opportunity for group photos – both candid ones where they help you get dressed and lighten the mood, as well as more posed ones.

If your wedding takes place during months with early sunsets, the preparation time is essentially the only chance to get beautiful posed photos with all your loved ones. Make sure to consider this!

Luxurious Wedding Car

If you've decided to rent your dream car for the wedding, it's worth setting aside an additional 10-15 minutes for a quick photo session on the way to the ceremony. There's always a spot along the route that's worth capturing, providing a beautiful backdrop for your photos. I often spot these places on my way to the ceremony.

Renting a car is an extra cost, so it's a good idea to plan everything so you can carve out a few minutes for those unique shots with your dream car. This quick action won't cause any delays.

Together, we’ll choose a location that won't require an extra hour of travel, and you’ll be able to enjoy amazing photos for years to come!

Better wedding photos in a nutshell

To summarize all the elements, the most important factor is good organization. You need to create something like a schedule for the day, keeping in mind that everything should be planned with some time buffer. This way, you’ll avoid unnecessary stress and the feeling that certain photos were missed.

Of course, the plan is always flexible and can change — that’s completely normal! The important thing is that you think about which photos are crucial for you and understand that to capture them, you need to prepare accordingly, but most importantly, allocate time for them.

You need to organize the stages of the day so that there’s time for everything. That’s the best way to ensure even better wedding photos.

The next stages will be discussed in the following post. I hope my advice has been helpful and will contribute to creating the most beautiful photographs.

Please let me know if my tips were useful to you, or if you’ve learned something you hadn’t considered before. I’d really appreciate your feedback. I’m preparing the second part of the guide covering the wedding, reception, and outdoor session, but without your support, there’s no point in creating new content. I’m waiting for your reactions!

Outdoor wedding with a travel theme

When I heard about this wedding, I knew it would be an incredible adventure and a wonderful experience for me. An outdoor wedding right by the forest, a fabulous place, the theme of travel present at every step. Yes, I have to admit that Paulina and Filip charmed me with their fairy tale in the blink of an eye.

This couple is a real volcano of energy, warmth and openness. They fit together perfectly! You may not believe me, but there are probably no two such funny people on this planet!

Nothing makes me happier than people who truly love each other, are happy and celebrate every moment spent together. Who can be silly, laugh until they burst and simply have a good time, regardless of the rest of the world. That's exactly what happened on their wedding day and at the outdoor session. In such moments, you are overcome by a broad sense of fulfillment and happiness.

Paulina and Filip share a passion for travel. Thanks to it, they have traveled a lot of the world and are richer for many adventures. As if that wasn't enough, the story of their engagement is also amazing. Filip asked for Paulina's hand in marriage during a balloon flight! Have you ever heard of a similar story? I haven't :D

This wedding was different from all the others, it broke the usual patterns and accepted conventions. Paulina and Filip did everything in their power to make this day look exactly as they had dreamed. There was no first dance, no thank you to the parents, no capping ceremony.

The party went at its own pace. Guests were slowly sipping good beers, tasting delicious food (I still remember those amazing flavors!), chilling on the sun loungers and generally having a great time together. No stress, no rigid schedule, just like that.

There was a huge jenga, pick-up sticks, badminton, playing football, running barefoot on the grass and enjoying the beautiful, purple sunset in perfect weather. Music without a moment for disco polo and everyone, but I mean everyone, regardless of age, had a great time.

As a photographer, I accompanied them until 10 p.m. Everyone had an absolutely fantastic time and there was no way boredom would creep in. The shots were full of wonderful moments, emotions and I absolutely did not feel that anything was missing.

Check it out for yourself!

P.S. The report from Paulina and Filip's wedding was published in Magazine Wesele. Their story and unconventional approach to their own wedding charmed the editorial team.

How to find a perfect photographer for your wedding?

Planning a wedding comes with many difficult choices for every bride. Many people wonder how to find the perfect wedding photographer and where to look for them.

This will be a mini guide for all the couples that don’t know how or where to start their research. This will help you to save time and minimize the risk of disappointment.

PERFECT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER - TELL THEM ABOUT YOUR EXPECTATIONS

Panna Młoda - sesja plenerowa

Nowadays, thanks to the internet, it’s easy to find any type of service – including photographers. But how do you find the one that’s right for you? First you must consider what kind of wedding photography you are interested in. What style is most aesthetically pleasing to you?

Are you looking for rather darker photos or something more nostalgic? Or maybe you prefer pastel, warm colors? Maybe you want spontaneous reportage where emotions and dynamic moments are captured? Or perhaps you prefer static poses?

Answering those questions will help you define your needs and who you’re looking for. Every wedding photographer has his own style, which he or she has been perfecting for years. They don’t change it with every session. Don’t be afraid – there are lots of photographers, you will surely find someone who is the right fit for you.

Once you decide what style you’re looking for, there are a few more things you must consider before finding the right photographer. What kind of services do you want? An outdoor photoshoot? Do you want photos of wedding gifts, accessories, shoes etc. as standalone pictures? Do you want the photographer to be there during the preparations?

When you figure out all of these elements – Now it’s time to consider the budget. It doesn’t have to be exact, but set a max price that you don’t want to cross. Although it is possible that, all of a sudden, you will find some more money which can be used to increase your budget. Now, you can start looking for the photographer.

WHERE TO FIND THE PERFECT PHOTOGRAPHER?

There are a few common ways to find your ideal photographer.  First one – through the grapevine. I’m sure some of your relatives or friends had a wedding in the recent past. Check out their photos, if you like what you see then obtain the photographer’s details and contact them. Ask about their workflow, share with them all your ideas from above, and discuss the price etc.

Another place where you can find a wedding photographer is Facebook. Most photographers are very active there, regularly posting about their recent shoots. Try the search bar to find groups for wedding photography or make a post and get some recommendations from your friends.

If you decide to post a question in the group don’t forget to write the date of the wedding, what parts of the wedding you’d like to shoot,  your style preferences and your budget. You can also mention the location of the wedding or wedding reception. This will shorten the time of your search.

Apart from facebook groups you can also check out Instagram. You can check the hashtag like #photographer, #weddingphotographer, #weddingphotography etc. This way you can quickly view many photographers’ work and see if whose style suits you.

Google, of course, will help you find many resources such as photographers’ websites, blogs and forums.

You can check the ranks of the services, choose the region specific, search nationwide or even look internationally. Most of them offer a possibility to register and post an announcement, not only for the photographers. Most of them are free so it’s the perfect place to look.

Lastly, you have wedding magazines. As you can imagine, you can find inside all things related to weddings and planning them, including photoshoots.

WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHILE CHECKING THE PORTFOLIO?

Ślub Kościelny

To be sure you choose the right photographer, you have to pay attention to a number of things. One of them is the portfolio – look closely at the photos and decide whether the composition and color choices are coherent. Does everything appear bland or does it create a sense of wonder and magic?.

If every photoshoot is a totally different story, then you can’t be sure what yours will be like. Look closely at the photos from the ceremony or wedding reception. Dark churches are always a challenge.

Those will be the photos that show the experience of the photographer. The ability to walk between guests on the dancefloor or catching the vows – those are not the moments that you can redo, everything is happening spontaneously.

If the photographer has a blog there is a chance that you can check more of the photos from weddings or photoshoots than the ones from his website. If not – you can always ask him to show you more.

Now to consider exactly what services they provide and their price. Do they shoot outdoors, are they animal friendly, do they shoot gifts and accessories etc. If it’s not explicitly stated, don’t be afraid to send them a message to find out! Note that often a photographer may not state exact prices on their website as each photoshoot has its own specification.

Now it’s almost time to make a choice! Maybe you’ve whittled it down to one, or you’ve selected a few options. Time to get in touch!

WHAT SHOULD I WRITE IN AN EMAIL?

First and foremost, you must tell them the date of your wedding to make sure they are available. Tell them which parts of the wedding day you’d like photographed, and about any specific items or moments that are important to you. If you still don’t know the price – Now is the time to ask.

Write a few words about yourselves – what’s your background, how you’ve been together, what would you perfect wedding look like. Believe me – there is nothing worse than an email “how much does the photoshoot cost?”. Photographers are also people, they want to know something about you :)

Ask about the possibility of seeing more of their work. Ask them to bring a variety of albums to the meeting. In the situation where many photographers work for one company, make sure to find out who is responsible for the photoshoots you liked so that you can arrange a meeting with the person whose work you appreciate the most.

Now there is no point of any further questions. Some of them will disappear after getting the whole offer. If not you can also ask about the additional costs like transport or accommodation and about the reservation requirements. Remember that only sending an email doesn’t necessarily mean that the reservation has been made..

The last step is to arrange a meeting. It can be in person or online through skype etc. Now, you can actually see and meet the person that you would like to work with.

MEETING WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHER

This is one of the most important days in your life, you certainly want to feel comfortable in the presence of the photographer. Meeting each other is an important step to see if you connect and share the same vision.

Sometimes, even if the photos are beautiful you just don’t know how to effectively communicate with each other. A photographer's personality has a huge impact on how you look in the photos. Trust us, you can just tell!

Every photographer has a different style. Some people are more expressive and some not. Some have a rather obvious presence and some will be standing quietly at the side, barely noticeable to the guests..

There are photographers that like to create situations and some just catch what’s happening spontaneously. Some are very open and friendly and some will be more reserved and official.

Thanks to that meeting you can see if this is the person that you’ve been looking for. Do you feel good with each other? Did he make a positive impression and do you want to hire that person?

During the meeting, you will agree to all the business details such as when to pay, when you’ll get your photos, how many hours the photographer will work etc. I will describe those things in a different article.

It may sound silly, but make sure that the person from the meeting is the person that will come to your wedding! It’s that person work you appreciate, and that person you connected with so a last minute change could ruin everything!

PERFECT PHOTOGRAPHER - SUMMARY

Now you know how to start looking for the right photographer for you and what to pay attention to. Remember that the most important thing is to clearly identify and describe your expectations and all should go well!
