Hey! I'm Elizabeth, also known as Purffect Shots. I come from a country famous for pierogi (dumplings) and the Pope – that’s Poland! :) I’m new here in the US and I’m exploring my way around this new continent. So, where did the name come from? Well, I’m a total cat lover! :) In my apartment, you'll find plenty of cat fur, along with tons of evidence of my deep cat obsession. Many of my couples are also cat lovers, and they take their feline companions' presence on their big day very seriously. Photos with cats at weddings are an absolute must-have! I’ve been doing photography for over 13 years, and I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in photography from the University of Warsaw.
In my free time, I watch a lot of movies and series. I’m a fan of Tarantino, Game of Thrones (except the last season!), and all mafia movies. I love board games and escape rooms. I lead a rather cozy lifestyle, where the sofa – familiar to everyone – is the main command center. :) I have a good sense of humor and don’t take myself too seriously, because life has taught me many times that it’s not worth taking everything too seriously. I love to laugh, joke, and when no one is watching or listening – I love to dance and sing. If you asked me whether I want a beer or a martini, I’ll always choose the first option. ;) And if we meet over a beer, you can be sure I’ll listen and ask more about you than talk about myself.
COUPLE of FACTS ABOUT ME:
I was born in the 90s, so I know what a Walkman is.
I'm a softie on the inside, which is why I sometimes cry during ceremonies or when reading thank-you emails from my clients (I don’t like the word ‘clients’ – to me, you’re all my friends).
I love pizza and ice cream, especially pecan ice cream!
I understand what Kenny from South Park is saying.
I hate goat cheese.
My favorite couple's pose is nose-to-nose.
I lived in Warsaw, Poland, for 10 years and have been in Sarasota since November 23, 2024.
I was the only one at university who got an A! in History of Photography.
On April 6, 2024, we said goodbye to our greatest friend, our beloved cat Nicky. He lived almost 19 years and brought incredible joy to our lives every day. We miss him dearly. It was the most traumatic experience I've ever had, and I still haven’t come to terms with the loss. Now we have our little princess cat Maize.
People are very important to me, and this is not just an empty phrase. Whether it's a wedding reportage, a portrait session, a business session, or a baptism reportage, each story is equally important to me. I don’t divide people into those who are 'better' and those who aren’t worth the effort, for example, just because their wedding doesn’t look like something from Pinterest. I treat everyone equally.
It’s important to me that my photographs are authentic, reflecting both you and my style of photography, as well as the way I see the world. I’m not fond of snobbery or making a big deal out of nothing. I don’t feel comfortable around control freaks or people pretending to be 'more' than they are. That’s why I ask a lot of questions during our first contact – I want to be sure we’re on the same page when it comes to photography, but also to make sure we’ll simply get along. Every new person I meet is an inspiration and a chance to form another meaningful relationship. I know I won’t necessarily form lifelong friendships with everyone, but if there’s a chance, why not try? :)
When I asked people to describe my photos, the most common words were: vibrant, fun, genuine, warm, joyful, candid, romantic, full of color and emotion. I couldn't have said it better myself! However, if you're wondering what makes a photo unforgettable, my answer is simple: TRUST. Without it, no session can succeed, no matter how beautiful the surroundings may be. That's all, and that's everything!
If you'd like to get to know me better or create something unforgettable together, feel free to check out my social media, blog, and contact me. I would be absolutely delighted to meet you!
